My name is Melissa Baker and I am a former graduate of Maria Carrillo High School. I completed my BS in Business Administration and obtained a multiple subject teaching credential at California State University, Chico. After that, I obtained my Masters in Counseling Psychology at the University of San Francisco. I was born and raised in Santa Rosa and have always enjoyed working with kids since I was a little girl. In elementary school, I spent my recesses helping out in the severely handicapped classes. I have been a counselor for the past 12 years; 3 years at Tech High and 9 years at Montgomery High School. I enjoy playing soccer and coached high school Varsity soccer for 6 years. However, my biggest joy is spending time with my family and 3 boys (ages 15, 13, and 3) with one on the way. I am excited to return to my home school. Once a Puma, always a Puma!
