Online Providers

Please contact your counselor about taking online courses. Online courses are not monitored by the MCHS Counseling Office or by any staff member. It is the sole responsibility of the student to complete the course satisfactorily, including the final exam, if the student expects to receive credit. 
To date, the UC system has approved the following online providers:

• Aventa Learning
• Brigham Young University Independent Study (BYU)
• Education 2020
• Florida Virtual School
• Laurel Springs Online
• National University Virtual High School
• PASS Program/ Cyber High
• Silicon Valley High
• Stanford Online High School
• UC Scout

Families need to sign the Long Distance Learning Agreement with their child’s counselor before signing up for an online distance learning course.
